Target Task

What is the Target Task?​

A unique concept of EFT Kappa is the Target Task. If all you want to do is unlock the Kappa container, then this feature may not be the most useful or unique feature. As most tools or reference material typically include information about whether a task is Kappa Required.

But what if you wanted to plan your wipe with different objectives or milestones? If you wanted to unlock Lightkeeper as fast as possible in a new wipe, do you know what to prioritize to unlock the task Network Provider - Part 1?

This is where the Target Task feature comes in. Simply set your Target Task to Network Provider - Part 1 and let EFT Kappa do all the hard work and calculations for you.

Setting your Target Task​

You can update the Target Task from a few locations within the application.

  • From the Dashboard you can select from the dropdown in the top right
  • From the Profile and Character page you can select your Target Task from the Character Form
  • When creating a new profile, you can select the initial Target Task

All changes to the Target Task will be updated immediately within the application.
